Inland Empire Heat Pumps

Heat Pumps — One System, Year-Round

Heat pumps are the most efficient way to condition an Inland Empire home year-round — one outdoor unit handles both heating and cooling. Tech On Call covers the full lifecycle: same-day repair, permit-ready replacement, new installation, and bi-annual maintenance.

The IRA Section 25C tax credit (up to $2,000) plus California utility rebates have transformed heat pump economics. New high-efficiency inverter heat pumps now compete head-to-head with traditional gas furnace + AC installs after incentives — and run on a single electrical service with no gas line required. We quote both side-by-side so you can decide on real numbers, including dual-fuel for High Desert homes where extreme cold nights call for gas backup.

For zoned applications — additions, ADUs, garages, multi-story retrofits — ductless mini-split heat pumps are often the best answer. Single-zone or multi-zone, inverter-driven, no ductwork required.

How We Work

The Service Standard

  1. 01

    Call & Schedule

A real dispatcher answers — no phone tree. Same-day or next-morning ETA confirmed, and we text the tech's name and photo before arrival.

  2. 02

    On-Site Diagnostic

Flat-rate diagnostic. Tech inspects burners, heat exchanger, ignitor, gas pressure, blower motor, and combustion — then explains what's failing in plain English.

  3. 03

    Written Quote

You see the repair (or replacement) price before any work starts. Diagnostic fee credits toward the repair when you proceed.

  4. 04

    Repair Or Install

Most repairs are completed same-visit — we stock ignitors, flame sensors, gas valves, capacitors, and blower motors on the truck. Larger jobs scheduled within 24–48 hours.

  5. 05

    Test & Document

We verify supply temps, gas pressure, combustion, and CO levels. You get a written invoice with everything we did, parts used, and warranty terms.

Heat Pump FAQ

Heat Pump Questions

01

What's an IRA tax credit on a heat pump?

Federal Section 25C credit up to $2,000 (30% of project cost) on qualifying heat pump installs. We provide AHRI certificate and Manufacturer Tax Credit Statement.

02

Do heat pumps work in cold weather?

Yes — modern inverter-driven cold-climate heat pumps maintain capacity well below freezing. High Desert (Hesperia, Victorville) homes may benefit from dual-fuel pairing for extra security.

03

Repair or replace?

Compressor failures and repeat refrigerant leaks usually mean replacement is the better call. See heat pump replacement.

04

What cities do you serve for heating repair?

Every city in Riverside and San Bernardino County — Riverside, San Bernardino, Fontana, Rancho Cucamonga, Ontario, Corona, Moreno Valley, Temecula, Murrieta, Redlands, Hesperia, Victorville, and the Coachella Valley. Cold-snap nights in Hesperia, Victorville, and Yucaipa drive the most no-heat calls — we triage those first.

05

Do you warranty heating work?

Every repair carries a workmanship warranty. New furnace and heat pump installs are registered with the manufacturer — most ship a 10-year parts warranty when registered within 60 days, and we handle that paperwork for you.

06

Do you offer financing on furnace replacement?

Yes — financing is available on qualifying furnace and heat pump installs. We'll walk through monthly payment options and California rebate eligibility (SoCalGas, SCE, federal IRA tax credits) before you commit.
