Inland Empire Exhaust Fans

Every Exhaust Fan We Service

Exhaust fans are the unsung half of every ventilation system. The supply side (your AC) gets all the attention, but the moment an upblast fan on the restaurant roof seizes, the moment a bath fan stops pulling humidity, the moment an inline kitchen fan goes unbalanced, the whole building tells you. Tech On Call services commercial upblast roof fans, inline duct fans, bathroom exhaust fans, and dryer-vent boosters across the Inland Empire — bearings, belts, capacitors, motors, and full fan replacements.

The most common commercial call is a failed upblast roof fan over a restaurant cookline — bearings worn from years of grease, belt stretched past tension, motor capacitor weak. We pull the fan, repack or replace bearings, swap the belt and capacitor, and re-balance the blower wheel. On the residential side it's almost always a bath fan that's been ignored for 15 years — quiet replacement options like Panasonic WhisperGreen take the same housing footprint and actually move the rated CFM.

Commercial kitchen fans connect to the hood and MAU as a balanced system — service one without testing the other two and the kitchen ends up in negative pressure, the back door slams, and the dining room smells like food. We test the full system before quoting parts. See related: exhaust hoods, make-up air units.

Process

How A Real Fan Job Runs

  1. 01

    Call & Schedule

A real dispatcher answers — no phone tree. Same-day or next-morning ETA confirmed, and we text the tech's name and photo before arrival.

  2. 02

    Inspection & Test

Flat-rate diagnostic. Tech measures static pressure, airflow (CFM), filter restriction, hood capture, and IAQ baseline — then explains findings in plain English.

  3. 03

    Written Scope & Quote

You see the work and the price before anything starts. Diagnostic fee credits toward the repair when you proceed.

  4. 04

    Install Or Repair

Most repairs (boots, dampers, fans, motors, filters) are completed same-visit. Larger ductwork or hood jobs scheduled within 48–72 hours.

  5. 05

    Verify & Document

We retest static, CFM, and IAQ deltas and document everything — parts used, before/after numbers, warranty terms.

Fan FAQ

Exhaust Fan Questions

01

Do you repair commercial upblast roof fans?

Yes — every major brand. Bearings, belts, capacitors, motors, full replacements.

02

Why is my exhaust fan loud?

Usually worn bearings, stretched belt, or unbalanced blower wheel from grease buildup.

03

How much does a bath fan replacement cost?

$280–$650 installed depending on existing housing, ducting, and switch type. Panasonic WhisperGreen recommended for noise.

04

How much does it cost to replace a commercial fan motor?

$650–$1,800 depending on HP, voltage, and rooftop access. Quoted before any work.

05

Can you add an inline booster fan to a long duct run?

Yes — common for bathroom fans more than 10 feet from the outside cap, or for AC supplies to remote rooms.

06

Do you service whole-house attic cooling fans?

Yes — replacement motors, belts, and full replacement units. Great for High Desert evening cool-down.

07

What cities do you serve for ductwork and ventilation?

Every city in Riverside and San Bernardino County — Riverside, San Bernardino, Fontana, Rancho Cucamonga, Ontario, Corona, Moreno Valley, Temecula, Murrieta, Redlands, Hesperia, Victorville, and the Coachella Valley. High Desert dust loads drive a lot of our duct-cleaning and filter calls; coastal-IE humidity drives IAQ work.

08

Do you warranty ductwork and ventilation work?

Every ductwork install carries a workmanship warranty. Equipment — IAQ purifiers, dehumidifiers, exhaust fans, hoods — is registered with the manufacturer and most ship a 5–10 year parts warranty when registered within 60 days. We handle the paperwork.

09

Do you do commercial kitchen hood cleaning?

We service, repair, and replace commercial exhaust hoods, fans, and make-up air units, and we coordinate NFPA 96 hood-cleaning intervals with certified partners. See commercial exhaust hoods.
